I hate giving bad reviews, but today I have to. First, I did not have my hair styled as I had asked for because the stylist either didn't want to/didn't know how to adjust for clients with curlier hair. Basically, one girl said it was too thick and she didn't want to use more rollers. Secondly besides the one shampoo girl, all of the stylists seemed to have an attitude and didn't want to be bothered. I had my head yanked in all kinds of ways, it felt like I was getting flat irons slapped on my head, I kept getting passed off to different stylists, and at the end I was never even asked about the end result. I have been to other Dominican salons and got exactly what I asked for and better customer service so I will not come back here. I'll take my money where it's appreciated. The only reason I added an extra star is because at least for now my hair looks fine, but this is subject to change if it doesn't last or if my curls don't revert.
Vwry nice and friendly people work there. And they are very good at what they do.

First, I didn’t get what I requested which was a roller set. Then the washer girl said something to the effect of “they gave me the black girl” (in Spanish) so I already had an attitude. Then when she was done washing me with cheap shampoo that smelled like zest soap, instead of spraying the hair and rolling it up, some other person began to roughly handle my hair kept hitting the brush that my hair was rolled up in with the blow dryer. She then spiral curled it but again I asked for a roller set, I left and won’t be returning my money is green even tho I’m black. Watch your mouth around paying customers, give customers what they request, but don’t worry about seeing la negra again!
Get my hair braided here... nowhere else.
